Pneuma

Isn't it interesting that we hear Christ using the pronoun he/him as reference to the Holy Spirit. It doesn't necessarily mean that the Holy Spirit is masculine as oppose to feminine. It doesn't mean that the Holy Spirit is a man or a guy. Rather, the pronoun is used in reference to the Holy Spirit is only for the purpose to know him as a person. In fact, the word Pnemua (spirit) is from the Greek, and it is a neutral word, neither masculine or feminine. But for the sake of identifying the Holy Spirit as a person means that we can utilize Christ's references to the Holy Spirit and use the pronoun he/him.
