Update on Archbishop Brunett

Hi!  Since many of you have been asking about Archbishop Brunett, I wanted to give you an update.  He has now moved to the beautiful new assisted living facility called Aegis Living on Madison.

He is in a one bedroom apartment, and has a caregiver around the clock.  He uses a wheelchair to get around, but is able to do a couple of hours of physical therapy every day, and is very determined to make progress.  After spending 5 months in a hospital type room, he is so happy to be in a place where he can have some of his furniture and familiar things.

As I mentioned at our day of Reflection on Friday, he loves to have visitors, and there no longer is a restricted visitor list.  In order to spread out the visitors, his assistant at the chancery, Penny Howell, is the one to e-mail or call if you want to visit him.  Her e-mail address ispenny.howell@seattlearch.org, and her phone number is 206-774-4727.  Penny is in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and prefers to have you make appointments for your visits by e-mail.

JoAnne and I visited him a couple of weeks ago, and it was a nice enough day to go on the roof deck.

The address is 2200 East Madison, Seattle 98112.  (corner of 22nd and Madison. They have valet parking in front – off 22nd)  Please e-mail Penny if you would like to visit.  I know he would love to see you!
