Buddha

Buddha is often portrayed as a joyful and fat man (statues usually found in restaurants).  

One day, Buddha sat underneath a tree, and young trim soldier came by and said to Buddha.  You look like a fat man.

The Buddha replied: "but you look like God!"

The young trim soldier replied: why would you say that I look like God?

Buddha replied: because we usually don't see reality the way it is.  We often color reality with the things that occupy our minds, and the things that we meditate upon. And then we project that onto the world.  

I spend most of time thinking about God and meditating upon God.  That's why I think you look like God.  You must be thinking about other things.
