Enabling: For me, enabling is not to help people see their own sins, faults and failures in a charitable manner. It is a misunderstanding of compassion and mercy because it permits the other to persist in their vices.
What are some ways that we enable others?
What is the difference between mercy and enabling?
Why do we enable others?
Are there selfish motivations?
Who is the typical person that we enable?
What typically happens when we try to stop enabling someone?
Do we enable ourselves?
Do people like to be enabled?
Do people usually like the bar to be lowered or raised?
Do we inform people that we do not desire to enable?
Are we apologetic to people when we enable them?
Do we expect more from ourselves?
Do we want to help others to reach their potential?
